This year's Smithsonian
Folklife Festival hosted demonstrations, performances and famous
Texas talk about the Lone
Star State's proud history and its contemporary traditions.
The Smithsonian Marketplace included works of several Texas Original (TxO)
artists, including Texas themed and custom designs from Artisan's
Touch.
Texas Commission on the Arts supports the TxO program to promote
original work by Texas' craft artist.
